Personality: A hyper, happy, energetic girl, Yu is extremely friendly to... everyone, really. Her boundless enthusiasm seems completely opposite her interest in the occult. Yu makes friends easily, loses them in silly fights, then makes up even more easily. She's a bit flaky, and you wouldn't want to count on her in a pinch, but she's a good person to have around on dull days.
History: Yu was raised by a fairly traditional Chinese family which had immigrated to Japan. ...unfortunately for her parents, Yu didn't take to Chinese traditions outside of occult stories, which she found fascinating. She actually attempted to merge different styles of occult and perform a séance... which ended in disaster. Yu was spiritually focused onto a very narrow 'wavelength', making her all but ghost proof... except to a handful, which could possess her at will. Needless to say, she had managed to summon one such ghost, Desdemona, which now follows her around constantly. The ghost's personality is Yu's near opposite; gloomy, short tempered, and creepy.
